Why I built it
Pulse takes the screening workflow I worked on in clinical AI and explores how to express multiple protocols as configurable rules with an auditable approval process.
Engineering decisions
Write protocols as YAML with a CQL-subset interpreter that rejects unsupported expressions.
Pre-fill a guided screening flow from clinical events and show coverage across the unit.
Require human approval for orders and record policy changes and overrides.
What works today
Five screening protocols are implemented as configuration. The closed loop from a screen to an outbound order was verified at a mock EMR receiver in July 2026.
Current boundaries
Version 0.1 on the demo mesh. Bundles start disabled. This is a demonstrated decision-support workflow with no claimed clinical outcome or established regulatory status.
